First, contact us. If your date is available, we will book it in the calendar for you upon rental payment and signing of electronic contract.
We will either meet you at The Studio 15 min prior to your booking or get you to pick up and drop off your keys at our designated key location nearby.

How does this process work?

Yes! We welcome you to bring any personal gear you would like to use for your shoot!

Can I bring my own equipment?

The wireless triggers should work with most camera models. If you would like to hardwire to the triggers, you will need a PC sync port to connect. We have had difficulties with newer camera models - with specifically Sony. We recommend checking out our equipment list and researching your camera model before moving forward with your booking. 

Will my camera work with the equipment offered in the studio?

HOW DOES AN ALIEN BEE WORK?

Not at all! Our Studio welcomes all sorts of professionals from videographers, wedding planners, stylists, to educators, and beyond! 

Do I have to be a photographer to use the space?

Yes, our space rentals start at 1 hour. 

Is there a minimum amount of time that I have to rent the space?

Technically, no. However if your rental exceeds 12 hours we recommend booking time in the Studio for consecutive days. 

Is there a maximum amount of time that I can rent the space?

Yes, it has a sky light. 

Does the space have natural light?

Yes, we have one vintage blue couch perfect for boudoir and a selection of chairs.

Does the Studio have furniture that I can use for my shoot?

Yes!

Is there a changing room?

Yes! We absolutely love furry models. :)
We just ask (like with all shoots) that you clean up after your shoot and leave the Studio as found. 
You will be invoiced for any damages that occur. 

Does the Studio accommodate pet photography?

Studio bookings are made on a first come first served basis. 

How does the booking system work?

It is a small space, but can work well with group photos! We recommend shooting in groups of three and then sitting the images together in Photoshop. 

Can the studio accommodate groups or teams Photos?
